One and Two.

So here are my first two outfits from the challenge. I didn't have a lot of time for day one's pictures as I was late for meeting with my trainer. I'm sensing that picture taking will be difficult with the sun setting so early...but I will figure it out! I just told Jeff my pictures aren't nearly as good as when he takes them!

So this is sort of weird, but I would like to debut my birthmark. I often try to hide it, but it's getting more and more difficult so I'm just going to stop caring so much about it. I'm usually really self conscious about it and it's destroyed any hopes of ever having nice legs, but hey at least it matches my boots. So from now on, I will no longer be doing awkward poses to hide it, I'm just going to let go of my insecurities. This blog just got real.

This is my dog Cal. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He's such a cutie!

I would like to thank all of the veterans! I grew up in a military family so it's always very important to honor and respect those who protect our country. My dad is now retired military and has done his share of overseas tours, so thank you to my wonderful father! He sacrificed so much and I'm so thankful for everything he has done for our country and for our family.

Okay last thing, I'm having a hard time with my bangs. I think I want to grow them out and now they are at that funky length and I don't know what to do with them. Any tips on getting over the bangs blues?

This is a VERY cute outfit. And I'm glad your blog just got "real". :) It's DEFINITELY nothing to be embarrassed about.

welcome, birthmark! haha, I have one on my FACE that I hate - it's actually pretty small - about the size of a pencil eraser, on my jaw line, below my ear. I HATE it, but every dermatologist I've ever asked about removing it said it would leave an even bigger scar, and I'm prone to keloid scars as it is.

Anyway, you could see it in a picture I was going to put on the blog, and I thought about airbrushing it out, but didn't - it felt nice to embrace it! Hey, birthmarks make us unique!

Girl, don't worry about the birthmark! Seriously.
You are beautiful.
As far as the bangs go, I'd say either cut them or just live with them until they get to the length you want.

You looks so pretty! Don't worry about your birthmark- I have one underneath my eye & i can get very self conscious about it. People will always tell me I have dirt or something on me and point at it & I'm like, NOPE THAT'S MY FACE.

Sad! I can't see the first picture, so I'm just going to play pretend and imagine it's just as cute as outfit number two.

I say stick it out with your bangs, if you cut them, you'll hit that awkward length all over again and be back at square one.

I love these looks, especially the second one! Hehe, and I always try to flatter Gavin as much as possible, that way he may be more inclined to take photos in the future.

And yes, happy veteran's day! Both my parents were in the military when I was growing up, so you can imagine all of the moving we did!

I think your birthmark is adorable! You are cute with hiding it or keeping it visible! :)

I am so glad you are doing the 30 for 30 challenge.
My tips for the bangs is pin them back with cute clips and headbands.
Your dog is super cute, "I just want to pat him on his furry chest :)

That's the spirit girl! We're not perfect models we're better, we're real girls ;)
I'm totally on a bangs situation too so I'm not a really help cause I really don't know what to do with mines either! I usually brush them to one side or hold them up.

First, growing out bangs sucks, which is why I always self-trim mine, and why they always look ridiculously amateur. Yours look great with your hair down though! You can't even tell you have 'em.

As far as your birthmark: girl, what even. Birthmarks are HOT. I'm not kidding. I have a huge thing for pale people with lots of moles, and birthmarks are like a giant mole, which I find really cool. You should show it off! It makes you interesting and unique. You have great legs BECAUSE of the birthmark, not despite it! You're insane. Embrace it. :) <3

Also that skirt is adorable.
