Okay so I originally started my blog to partake in Kendi's infamous 30 for 30 Remix Challenge. I failed miserably. But now that I have sort of found a style I can call my own, I'm ready to give it another go. 30 for 30 means 30 items for 30 days. There is also a 30 day shopping ban! This shopping ban couldn't come at a more perfect time because I need to save for Christmas and a wedding.
Here are my 30 items:
So if you did the math, you can see these only add up to 26. I'm waiting on a few items from online orders (I put them in BEFORE the challenge)! I'm waiting on this shirt in mauve, this skirt in brown, my boots from Blowfish in brown and these brown boots too.
My breakdown:
5 dresses
7 tops
5 bottoms
7 cardigans
6 shoes
30 items!
If you would like to read up on the rules or join in, please visit Kendi Everday.
I photographed outfit one today (didn't turn out so great) so I will be combining it with the outfit 2 post. Sorry! Also, I hit my 50 followers! Thank you all so much for following and commenting. You are all so sweet and you're always putting a smile on my face! So I'll be putting together a giveaway this weekend. I don't think the shopping ban applies to giveaways...

Great items! I should really participate in this, if not in the blogworld, then in my own personal time. Can't wait to see what you're doing!

even though this doesn't align with the challenge rules, I wanted to let you know I found an orange cardi! It's Gap's supersoft wool cardigan (or something similar to that) - they're on sale for $32 and some change, but there's the Give/Get promo going on now for 30% off, so that makes it a little cheaper - still more than I like to spend on a cardigan, but heck, I've been looking for an orange one forever!
I can't say I totally understand what the contest is about, but I just need to say that the black lace skirt and black shoes from Sears are way too cute! Really great items on your closet Heather!
