Grunge chic.

So this outfit felt very laid back, grunge to me. I bought these boots this very day and didn't take them off after I bought them. I went to some random shoe store in the mall (the Shoe Dept.) looking for brown boots and didn't have any luck so I started to leave. As I was walking out I saw these boots out of the corner of my eyes and decided to check them out. Then I saw the beautiful orange sale sticker saying they were on $12! There were only two sizes left and one of them was a size 7 (cue happy dance). I instantly bought them and have worn them every day since! They are so versatile and comfortable!

So without further ado, here is my grunge look with my new boots:

Dress: Heritage 1981
Boots: The Shoe Dept.
Tights: Forever 21
Plaid shirt: Charlotte Russe
Cardigan: Target

As you can see, there is a massive hole in these tights. This was my very first time wearing them and what started out as a tiny hole turned into this within an hour. Now the hole sort of compliments my "grunge" look, but I don't think I'll be wearing these tights again. I'm really upset by this! I think I'm done buying tights from Forever 21. I'll just stick to Target tights because they haven't let me down yet!

This outfit was really inspired by LLYMLRS. I fell in love with the peek-a-boo plaid look and had to see what I could do with it.

I'm starting to actually update my chictopia now too, so come help me get into the Style Council! I'll become a fan of yours in return for you being a fan of mine ;)

The layering in this outfit is genius! I think that's my goal for the fall: work on layering more creatively! I love your tights;) i'm a sucker for them hahaha!

And our boys certainly do get in interesting positions taking our pictures hhaha! Please post a picture! I'd love to see :)
