DIY: Newspaper nails.

So I painted my nails with newspaper tonight and decided to share this easy how-to. This was also my first time trying this!
newspapernails

Supplies:
Light colored nail polish.
(I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Beige Blast)
A clear nail polish.
10 strips of newspaper.
Rubbing alcohol or vodka.
(I used Grey Goose Vodka)

howto1

Steps:
1. Paint your nails with the light color of your choice. Wait until they dry completely.
2. Soak each finger for 5 seconds in the alcohol, until the nail is wet.
3. Press the newspaper firmly on your finger for 20-30 sec.
4. Wait a few minutes before applying clear coat.

And that's it! You have newspaper printed nails!

Note: my smeared pinky because I instantly tried to paint the clear coat. I learned not to do this! I also only held my newpaper on for 10 seconds, doubling the time should result in darker ink!

Whoa, that's so crazy! Uuugh if I wasn't so lazy I'd totally do this. I just hate painting my nails because I'm way too lazy to either remove the polish when it starts to chip, or retouch them. Hmmm. I dunno though, this is a sweet DIY that I may be forced to try out. :| You've put me in a tight spot, Heather. A tight spot.
