Okay so I know I have been really slacking, but I have been taking daily outfit pictures this week! I spent the week at my boyfriend's house and I didn't want to upload all of my pictures to his computer, so I just waited until I got home. I'll just have to play catch-up now. This is what I wore last Monday. We had a labor day bbq at my house, then went back to my boyfriend's to prepare ourselves for a work week.
This is what I wore:
Today we went to Urban Outfitters where I bought a dress and belt. My mom said "You bought another dress? It's getting cold." I just replied "I know, but that's what tights are for." Last year, I only wore jeans and sweaters. This year, I'm dressing to express who I am. My personality screams florals, lace and accessories. I don't want to dress down anymore just because I feel like there isn't any occasion to dress nice.
I went to get my haircut today and I'm wearing a dress, tights, sweater and oxford heels. All of the hair stylists commented on how cute my outfit was and asked if I was going anywhere special, I simply replied "No. I just dress like this." I'm a girl, why is it always shocking that I'm wearing a dress or heels? Isn't that the beauty of being a woman?
On a happy exciting note, my new Weepies cd came in the mail. AND Ingrid Michaelson is coming to town in a little over a month. Rachael and I just bought our tickets, we couldn't be more excited. Ingrid is always one of our go-to hang out music artists, and this is both of our first times seeing her live!
I would also like to say THANK YOU to all of the men and women out there serving to protect our country. I will never forget this day or where I was when the twin towers were hit. I lived on a military base at the time and it was the craziest week of my life. My deepest condolences go out to the families that were affected by this tragic day. United we stand.
