Nine and Ten.

Hello new followers! If you're a first time reader, I am a part of Kendi's 30 for 30 challenge, so I will be remixing outfits for the next 20 posts, I've now completed 10!

Lesson learned: this challenge is HARD. I feel like I should have taken more time picking my 30 items because they are all so bland. I'm glad I have colorful accessories, so you will all get to see how to make a plain outfit into something a little more fun. Well, that's the plan anyway.

Remix No. 10:

So I'm very behind on posting for this challenge. I have two more outfits to post, but it may take awhile because I'm in love with ALL of the pictures that came out. Jeff did such an amazing job and the lighting is so beautiful. I can't wait to share them tomorrow! I'll tell you all about our photo adventures in the next two posts!

Also, if you become a fan of my chictopia, I'll return the favor and add you as a favorite too! Just leave a link to your chic profile and I'll add you back! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Oh and a happy birthday to my beautiful niece, Elizabeth! She is now 4 years old and it has been so amazing to watch her grow into such a smart, amazing little girl!

I love the green tights from the first outfit and the fabulously nubby sweater in the second!

day ten's textured tights and similarly textured sweater look great together.

and yeah, i did my first thirty for thirty challenge this summer and picked almost all basic solid pieces. i thought it would make it easier, but it just made it boring!

Even though you chose all basics, at least you can add tights, accessories, etc, to add color and interest to your outfits! I'm constantly using scarves and tights to change up the looks in my 30 pieces, since I also chose many neutrals. :) I also love day 10's outfit, but I think a richly colored scarf would have made it pop a bit more. :) However those tights are brilliant!

Nice! Love the tenth outfit in particular, the textures are lovely! I feel like I really should've thought my 30 pieces out better, too...

I love your outfit number 10! The textured tights go so well with the long cream cardigan.

That was one of the reasons I didn't pick to do the challenge... I think the problem is that non-neutral/mellow colors are really sensitive when it comes to mixing, so they're not the most practical for something like this.

That said, I don't think these looks are boring in the slightest! You look awesome :)
