Jeff is camping for the weekend, so my guest photographer for the day is my dad! He had some cool (no pun intended, ha!) ideas and was completely okay stomping through the snow with me to take pictures.
We live in a new subdivision where houses are still being built and this lovely ol' excavator just sits in the empty lot next to our house. Some say eye sore, my dad says "photo op."
I've had this dress since April and I just took the tags off and wore it for the first time today! I have a lot more ideas for this dress for spring, and by a lot of ideas I really just mean one idea. The color is so pretty. I'm really liking pink lately, which is strange because I'm not a very pink person.
I'm crossing my fingers that school gets canceled tomorrow, because then I get another day to sleep in. Hope you are all staying warm! I've had like four cups of hot cocoa between last night and today. I personally recommend Tiramisu flavored hot cocoa, it's amazing!

Believe it or not I used to detest pink and then from one day to the next I got over my tomboy hatred and it is all over my wardrobe now :D

I love that the dress made its first debut in winter... seems so backwards to most people, but in reality opens up a whole slew of different ways to style the piece for chillier... or frigid weather. The color looks fantastic on you- and these pictures are stunning.

Glad you are feeling better. This is a great photo shoot, my son walks around all the time with his tongue out trying to catch snow flakes :)
That dress is lovely and i am sure you could remix it heaps of different ways - boots, cute heels, different colored tights, jewellery, belts!

You are brave, in the snow with a light cardigan! I guess living in Michigan you get used to it, though! We are wimps here in VB, we bundle up with any clothing items laying around!
